This type 2 diabetes risk calculator is intended only as a guide and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Please note that this calculator will not be accurate if you are pregnant or have a history of gestational diabetes. This tool is intended for people over the age of 18.
For personalised professional advice and support, we will be offering an online dietetic assessment reviewed by Cara, our registered dietitian (Coming in 2026).
You’ll receive a personalised report with dietary recommendations, lifestyle changes, and practical steps to help you make positive changes.
For more information on this, please see our services page to get started or simply click Find Out More (below).
1. How accurate is this type 2 diabetes risk calculator?
Our calculator uses evidence based risk factors similar to those in NHS public health screening tools. It’s a screening tool, not a diagnosis and only a blood test can confirm your status.
2. What should I do if I’m at high risk?
Book an appointment with your GP for further testing, such as a HbA1c blood test. Alongside that, our dietetic assessment can help to reduce your risk. For more information on this, please see our services page to get started.
3. How can a registered dietitian support someone concerned about diabetes?
A registered dietitian is a healthcare professional trained to provide personalised, science-based advice on eating habits, activity levels, and lifestyle that work for you.
