These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to all users of the services provided by Prevent Diabetes Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who We Are

Prevent Diabetes Ltd is a UK-based online service offering dietetic assessments designed to help reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

2. Service Delivery

All services are delivered exclusively online via our website and email. We do not provide consultations or support via telephone, video conferencing, in-person appointments, or any other method.

We aim to provide documents in an accessible format. Please contact us if you require reasonable adjustments.

2.1 Dietetic Assessment Service

Following completion of the online dietetic questionnaire and receipt of payment, your submission will be reviewed by our Registered Dietitian.

You will receive a personalised written dietetic assessment in PDF format, delivered to the email address you provide at registration. This assessment includes dietary analysis, including tailored nutrition advice and personalised SMART goals where appropriate.

Assessments are typically delivered within ten (10) working days of receipt of a fully completed questionnaire and payment, unless otherwise stated.

2.2 Clarification Support (Assessment Service)

As part of the Dietetic Assessment service, you may send one follow-up email for clarification regarding the content of your assessment. This is intended solely to help you understand the written recommendations provided and does not constitute ongoing clinical supervision or continuous care.

2.3 Dietetic Assessment + 1 Month of Support

Where you purchase the “Dietetic Assessment + 1 Month of Support” service, you will receive:

  • A written dietetic assessment as described in Section 2.1; and
  • A defined four (4) week support period commencing on the date your assessment is delivered.

During this four-week support period, you will receive weekly email check-ins from our Registered Dietitian. These check-ins are structured written communications intended to provide general guidance, answer questions related to your goals, and support adherence to your personalised recommendations.

You may also send questions by email during this period, and responses will be provided during standard working days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).

This support is time-limited and does not constitute ongoing or continuous clinical care beyond the stated four-week period.

2.4 Ongoing Monthly Support Service

Where you subscribe to the “Ongoing Monthly Support” service, you will receive a monthly recurring subscription service which includes:

  • Weekly email check-ins from our Registered Dietitian; and
  • Email-based support relating to your nutrition and lifestyle goals.

A completed Dietetic Assessment is required before commencing this service, in order to ensure advice is safe and appropriately personalised.

This service operates on a monthly recurring basis and continues until cancelled in accordance with our payment terms.

2.5 Communication Method Requirements

Clients must not send any personal information, medical information, documents, forms, or service‑related correspondence by post. Prevent Diabetes Ltd does not operate or monitor any postal address for client communication.

All information must be submitted through our online service forms or  via email to support@preventdiabetes.co.uk where applicable.

3. Technology Disclaimer

You are responsible for ensuring that you have a working internet connection, access to a valid and regularly monitored email account, and appropriate software to open PDF files. We are not responsible for failed delivery of services due to incorrect email addresses, email filters (e.g. spam/junk folders), or failure to access electronic content on your part.

Prevent Diabetes Ltd is not responsible for third‑party email provider outages.

7. Payment & Refund Policy

Service commencement for the Dietetic Assessment and the Dietetic Assessment + 1 Month of Support service is deemed to occur once we commence substantive review of your completed questionnaire for the purpose of producing your personalised assessment.

Service commencement for the “Ongoing Monthly Support” subscription service is deemed to occur on the date of the first payment confirmation following successful subscription enrolment.

If we fail to substantially deliver the purchased service within within twenty-one (21) working days from the date we receive your completed pre-assessment form (provided you have met all submission requirements), you will be eligible for a full refund. Refunds will be issued within a reasonable timeframe.

All prices are stated in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

7.1 Cancellation

By submitting your completed questionnaire and requesting that we begin the service within the 14-day statutory cancellation period, you acknowledge that you may lose your statutory right to cancel once the service has commenced with your express consent.

The Ongoing Monthly Support subscription may be cancelled at any time before the next billing cycle.
Cancellation will prevent future payments but will not normally entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.

8. Service Timeframes

If we anticipate a delay due to service demand or unforeseen circumstances, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you in advance.

Timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed.

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These include, but are not limited to: natural disasters, acts of God, pandemics, illness, technical failures, internet outages, or government restrictions. You will be entitled to a proportionate refund where services cannot be delivered.

We will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable of any such event and discuss reasonable alternatives or refunds where appropriate.

We are committed to safeguarding your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

By using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described in our [Privacy Policy].

We do not sell your data. We may share your data with trusted third-party service providers where necessary to deliver the service, all of whom are bound by data processing agreements.
